What are the times for each session?
Session #1 - Friday September 8th, 6-11pm
Session #2 - Saturday September 9th, 12-5pm
Session #3 - Saturday September 9th, 6-11pm
What is included with my ticket?
Tickets for each session of Welly Cask Fest will include: sampling glass, 5 x 4oz drink tokens, and shuttle bus to/from the brewery and downtown Guelph.
What happens if it rains?
Welly Cask Fest will happen rain or shine. The event is primarily outside under tents, so there will be coverage in the event that it rains. We will also have an indoor bar and sampling area open. That being said, we strongly suggest anyone attending the event dress appropriately for the weather.
Can I bring my kids?
Absolutely! The weekend festivities are open to people of all ages. This year we are offering a Designated Driver / Under 19 Ticket, which includes access to the event but does not include a sampling glass or any tokens. Anyone attending under 19 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Children under 12 years of age will be admitted at no charge.
I’m the Designated Driver, do I need a ticket?
Yes, this year we are offering a Designated Driver / Under 19 Ticket option, which includes access to the event but does not include a sampling glass or any tokens. With this ticket you will not be served any alcohol.
Where can I park?
During the event there will be no parking on-site at the brewery. We will have a designated parking area near the brewery. We will also be running shuttle buses to and from downtown Guelph. We strongly encourage everyone to utilize the shuttle bus to and from downtown Guelph. More info here
Will your brewery retail store be open?
Yes! Our brewery retail store will be open throughout the event however we will not have parking at the brewery. If you are just coming for our retail store you will have to access the store by parking in the event parking lot near the brewery and walking over.
How much does beer cost?
Your ticket to the event includes your sampling glass and 5 x 4oz drink tokens. Additional drink tokens are $2 / 4oz token.
Will there be food?
We will have 2 food trucks at each session. They will be serving a wide variety of food styles including vegetarian options.
Will this event be cash only?
No, while it’s always great to bring cash, we will also accept credit or debit payments for drink tokens and merch. Please note that we will not have an ATM on site this year.
Can I stay for more than one session?
There are individual tickets for each session, so you’ll need a ticket for each individual session.
Do I need to buy advance tickets or can I get them at the event?
Yes, we strongly recommend that you get your tickets in advance since we have sold out in advance in the past.
Will you have non-alcoholic drinks available?
Yes, we will have water stations set up. Guests can bring their own reusable water containers or use their Welly Cask Fest glass for water. We will also have Sparkling Hop Water and Cold Brew coffee for sale. Our food truck vendors will also have some non-alcoholic beverage options.
Will you have other alcoholic options that aren’t beer?
Of course. We will have casks of cider available as well as hard seltzers available inside at our can bar.
Are dogs allowed?
Sorry but we are unable to allow dogs at Welly Cask Fest (with the exception of service dogs of course).
